Looking Glass Falls
A 60-foot waterfall you can see from the car.
One of the easiest big payoffs in the mountains — the falls drop about sixty feet right beside US-276 in Pisgah, and you can take them in with a short walk from the parking area. Pair it with Graveyard Fields and make an afternoon of the drive; on the Blue Ridge Parkway the driving is half the pleasure. Steps lead down to the base if you want to get close.
